Im looking into being a Dental Assistant. But im just wondering what a ball park figure how much will it cost me. And how long is the schooling going to last?

It all depends on your current level of education and your financial status. You should call your local community college and ask for anyone in Student Support Services. These people will be able to give you information on classes, help you with financial aid, and will get you enrolled in school if you decided to pursue this career.

Water doesnt provide nutrients, but is necessary to carry waste from the body and hydrate the cells of the body as well, so it doesnt dry out.

Can’t speak for anywhere else in the U.S., but here in the Metro Detroit area there are a few part-time opportunities for dental hygienists and dental assistants. But be warned: Many dental offices want full-time hygienists/assistants.

I am a 19 year old college student that is on a very short income, I have not dental Ins. I am really in need of a little work. I have a tooth that is killing. Does anyone know and way i could help paying for this?

I would see if your college offeres dental insurance. Other than that I would get in touch with catholic charities and see if they know of any such organization. In Terre Haute, catholic charities and St. Ann’s Parish hold a free clinic twice a week.

Get it taken care of regardless because oral health issues will lead to other health issues. If your tooth is infected -which it probably is since there is pain involved – the infection can spread.
